Hat

Christmas Sockhead Slouch Hat

It’s here Christmas is here. I haven’t even bothered to start cleaning yet and I’m hosting Christmas. My windows and blinds need to be cleaned as well as my carpets plus all of the usual cleaning and food prep.

I  finished knitting my Christmas hat. I love how this hat turned out. I wish that I had purchased more of this yarn so I could make more hats.

Rainbow socks

WOW, another crazy week has gone by and we are that much closer to Christmas. Luckily I have a few extra days to prepare to host the In-laws Christmas over New Years.

Like my new matchy matchy socks? I knit the ones with orange heels for myself and the other pair for my Great Aunt. They both have a slip stitch pattern on the top of the foot at each change of color.

Christmas Socks

These socks were a lot of fun to knit and now my toes can be festive during this holiday season. I love how they are miss matched & I have more than enough yarn to knit another pair. I added ribbing to fit into the arches of my feet and I used the true afterthought heel where you snip a strand of yarn and ravel it away to add in your heel. It was great fun and looks great!!!
