LETTERS HOME: Not much to write home about

I’ve been busy since I last posted but I haven’t finished anything.

It’s no wonder that I haven’t finished anything when you look at the pile of projects that have been in my hands over the last week and that’s not all of them. I forgot an embroidery project that the kids have been helping me with.

We’ve also been doing a lot of spring cleaning too. Tomorrow we plan to wash windows inside and out. We will also be removing our old appliances and cleaning  before the new ones arrive on Wednesday. I can’t wait to be able to cook a meal in my own house.

I’m still battling allergies… specifically swollen and extremely dry sinuses. I’m tired and tired of being tired. I’m seriously tempted to make an appointment with an ear, nose, and throat specialist to see what can be done if anything. I’m also considering allergy shots.

I also reorganized my craft space. I figured with summer break starting in a few weeks that I would need a quiet space to introvert in.

I hope all is well with you guys. Have a happy and creative weekend.

  1. You are so good to have that meticulous cleaning binge planned. I just wiped down the microwave this afternoon, LOL. Every time I would open it I would avoid looking inside. But today I couldn’t ignore it any further. I had decided to hypothesize that maybe the Costco Zyrtec wasn’t working for me anymore so I bought Target Allegra. The allergy aisle was practically empty there. We’re not the only ones suffering. The new meds helped last night. My eyes are still a little itchy but there’s improvement.

  2. Hope the allergies says a pleasant goodbye soon, and you can get back to your old self again. 🙂 It is of course now winter here, and I am enjoying the cooler weather. I love your craft space, it looks so nice, comfy and peaceful. Great job. Have a good week. 🙂

      1. As kids we were the same, but once we started working and got out of the house, we settled. 🙂 My sister and I get on so well, and we visit as much as is possible. Having only had one kiddie, I never had the bickering. But now I have a son in law, and it is like having 2 kids. 🙂 They are so much fun to have around.
