Modern Granny Rectangular Afghan

This Afghan was really fun to make. I started it in February and worked about four rounds before loosing interest in it. I picked it up a few days ago and sailed through it. I’ve never crochet an afghan like this before but I have already started a second afghan. This pattern made a really sturdy, dense, and cozy blanket and since I used acrylic yarn its machine wash and dryable. I even took time to stitch the ends down with matching embroidery floss to help the ends when being machine washed.

I love how the increases made visable lines and how you can see how it grew.

Sorry for the dirty carpet. Its right by the door and everyone walks in the door and throws their stuff right there.
